The Droylsden Learning Centre opened mid October 2000 offering a wide variety of courses to suit all tastes.
This is probably the best thing that's happened to Droylsden in years!
Currently the IT courses are run by two friendly and professional tutors, Alison and Sue.
Some of the courses offered at the centre:
Internet (how to surf, download and save files etc>
E-mail (how to post an electronic letter)
Web Design (how to make your own web pages)
Database (useful for keeping track of names, addresses and phone numbers or similar indexed information ie video collections, audio cds etc)
Desktop Publishing (why not learn to design and print your own personalised Christmas cards this year! Also good for doing leaflets, brochures, birthday invitations etc)
Mailmerging (you have a letter that you'd like to send to several different people, but the letter says the same thing: so keep the main body of the letter and just change the person's name and address - voila!)
